For some reason, the calendar turning to October brings a new level of excitement. So, while I’ve been absent from this blog for months, I decided that today it was time for a blog post.

In case you missed our big announcement… Rachel is getting a baby BROTHER sometime soon! We are thrilled and can’t wait to meet this little guy! Rachel isn’t sure what to think right now, but she notices the house is changing a little bit, and enjoys hitting my baby belly while saying, “baby!” She has such an interest in all babies, so we are hoping that translates into a special love for her little brother. We did a mini session a few weeks back, and she made some pretty hilarious faces for the camera!

Meanwhile, October is busy, busy, busy in the photography world! In an effort to deliver client images on time for Christmas and have time to focus on our growing family, I’ll be starting my maternity leave November 9, with all photo shoots ending November 1.
