Surprise!

That’s right… we are expecting a baby! Baby Teasley #3 is on the way. This pregnancy was a surprise to us, and we decided Christmas would be a fun time to surprise our family and friends (and clients) with a fun announcement in our Christmas cards! Now that (nearly) everyone has their card, we are excited to share our news publicly. We are so grateful for this unexpected blessing… and we are trusting God’s provision and timing! I never pictured myself as a mom of three, but clearly the Lord has different plans than we have in mind or ourselves, right?

Now, to answer the fun pregnancy questions…

How far along are you?  I am 17 weeks and due on June 9th.

Do the kids know? Rachel is thrilled to be a big sister, and David has no idea what is coming!!

What symptoms have you had? I had pretty extreme exhaustion the first trimester, (but it didn’t help that I found out the news at the start of my busiest busy season to date)!! The nausea has been off and on at various times of the day and still lingers here and there. But, overall, I’m feeling tons better in the second trimester.

Are you finding out the gender? Early on we had a lot of discussions about this, and knew that since we have a boy and a girl, this would be a fun time to wait until delivery to find out the gender. But, if you know us, we are both planners and both impatient. Well…….. we did the prenatal screening (hello, advanced maternal age ;)), where we also found out that IT’S A GIRL!!! We can’t wait to welcome this sweet baby girl into our family!

Do you have a name picked out? Not a one… Apparently, we have some work to do!

Will you keep doing photography? I will take fewer clients in 2018, but I plan to continue my photography business that I love, and serving my brides and families!!
