Oh my goodness… I couldn’t wait to share this special blog post and gorgeous session! Caris and I met when she was 7… and I’ve kept in touch with her family ever since. Her mom was gracious enough to meet with me weekly as a spiritual mentor when we both lived in Virginia, and I’m incredibly grateful for that relationship and all her wisdom!! Caris came to stay with our family for a week last summer and she began to do some intern work for my photography business! Throughout the past year, I have outsourced some tasks to her, and she’s done an incredible job working remotely!!

She’s starting her junior year of high school, and was asked but unable to attend prom this Spring, due to some family needs out of town! She already had this gorgeous dress, so she asked all her favorite guys (dad, grandfather, brothers, and cousins) to dress up for her summer photo shoot! Of course they would do ANYTHING for Caris, even if it meant wearing a suit at high noon on a steamy July day in Birmingham!

I’m so excited about what great memories these photos will be for this entire family!! The Teasleys love you guys and are thrilled we got to be a part of this!
