Meet the Bakers! I love the crazy connections that bring me together with photography clients, and the Bakers are no exception. I worked with Courtney (second from the right above) when we both worked at LifeWay… we often travelled together and shared lots of crazy kids ministry and camp adventures. Then, during my last year at LifeWay, my office was next door to Patti (third from the right) who commissioned me for this extended family session with her three sons and their families. We met at Homestead Manor in Thompson Station for this family session.

We took family photos of each individual family and of course some of everyone together in the extended family, all the cousins, all the brothers with mom and dad, etc. Extended family photo sessions can sometimes feel forced or difficult, but these guys are a great example of the opposite. They were so great to work with! As a general rule, I try to move quickly, and to have a written list, kind of like family photos on the wedding day. I don’t typically move the entire group to a lot of different locations. Personally, I love the consistency that one location offers for displaying photos in clients’ homes!
