Meet Caroline and her sweet parents! I was so excited to photograph this family for Caroline’s first birthday. I met them (through church friends) when they welcomed her as a newborn, and one of the joys of what I do as a photographer is getting to see how families grow and change together, and it’s encouraging to see parents love this new role so much!

We went to Smith Park in Brentwood for this session, and I love all the options the park provides… from the shaded lane, to the big field, and the golden sunlight. I’m loving her gorgeous pink dress, too!

This girl was on the move, as you can tell from the images below! I LOVE the photos we got of her with mom and with dad… and how about that adorable headband?!?!
