Today’s sessions is one of those that I couldn’t wait to share! When D’s mom told me what she was thinking for this session, I was so excited. Not only was it out of my normal “wheel house,” but anytime I’m asked to do a different type of session, it stretches me creatively and really gives me a chance to grow in my art! I photographed this is a 6-year-old session at Crockett Park in Brentwood, just a couple of months after he turned six and started kindergarten.

Mom wanted to capture those baby teeth before they all went missing, his sweet dimples, those stunning blue eyes, and of course doing what this 6-year-old boy loves to do: playing a creek, collecting critters, building legos, and exploring! (Yes, we had to throw a little bit of school in there too!)
