If you’re a fan of the hit HGTV show, Fixer Upper, then chances are you love most anything designed by Joanna Gaines. As an avid Fixer Upper watcher, I have always wanted to visit the Magnolia Silos in Waco, TX. Thanks to my amazing friend Victoria (and some sweet grandparents who babysat Rachel, and some Southwest flyer miles), my dream became a reality this Christmas! I planned a super last-minute trip for David and I to visit Victoria and her family in Texas. She texted me and asked, “Would you want to go to Magnolia?” Immediately I responded “YESSSS!” and we started making plans to drive to Waco while I was there.
I knew I wanted to take my camera, so naturally we decided to do a super-quick mini session of Victoria and Beau, and also get some pics of David. The weather was cold and misty, but we didn’t let that stop us. These babies were the sweetest!! I only wish we had time or lived closer to be able to do family photography at Magnolia Silos ALL THE TIME! Victoria (in her cute new Matilda Jane with Joanna Gaines top ;)) and Beau made the BEST mommy-and-me models I could have asked for!
And then there’s sweet David… who made friends with everyone and rocked that winter hat! It’s true my child had no shoes, but we are working on remedying that! 😉
And these last images were taken in the gardens area. Santa normally camps out in this spot when he comes to visit the Magnolia Silos, but since Santa wasn’t there when we were, we decided to do our own photos with our kiddos and all those cute Christmas Trees.
So happy to get a few photos of me and my sweet boy together!
This was the best road trip to Magnolia, y’all. I’ll be sharing my other photos from around the grounds and the market so soon!
Merry Christmas from Magnolia!!
